The content of the site is the electronic format of the printed magazine Cancer World. The content is intended as an independent voice for the European oncology community, providing objective journalistic coverage of the people and associations working within the cancer arena; it also covers cancer-related ideas, issues, developments and controversies, serving as a forum for discussion. The content is designed for oncology professionals and other individuals interested in oncology.
Even though the website includes scientific/medical information, it is not designed to provide medical advice and no responsibility can be taken to whether the medical information is complete, exhaustive or accurate. Patients and the general public visiting the website should always seek professional medical advice.

Submitting articles for publication
Cancer World magazine is not a peer review journal and does not accept unsolicited manuscripts. Cancer World welcomes responses from the readers – in particular, comments and opinions on any of the diverse issues covered in the magazine, as well as suggestions on topics for inclusion in future issues.
Your Obligations and Conduct
The Site includes a comment area for adding comments about articles, and suggestions/feedback to the Cancer World team. Information/materials posted on the site by users will be controlled and ESO reserves the right to delete any material seen as unfit.
We ask that in using this area you agree that you will not use the site to: •
Perform personal attacks or persistent abuse;
Add offensive or threatening material, acts such as racism, sexism, homophobia or other forms of hate;
Add content that may put ESO in legal jeopardy;
Transmit spam, bulk, unsolicited communications, viruses or data relating to commercial activities;

Post material that infringes copyright;
Post information unrelated to the article/discussion.
The comments section of the Cancer World website contains opinions that are personal to the user and do not represent the views or opinions of The European School of Oncology or Cancer World team.
How to leave a comment
If you wish to leave a comment referring to a particular article we ask you to kindly complete a short registration. You are required to submit your name (this can be a real or invented name and will be published alongside your comment) and your email address (this won’t be published on our website but will be recorded for administrative purposes).
We offer an ‘email notification’ service where information about newly posted articles will be sent to you via email on a weekly basis. In order to receive ‘email notifications’ we ask that you complete a short registration which includes your name, surname and email address. This information will be used only for this purpose.

These terms & conditions are governed by Italian law and parties agree that the courts in Italy hold jurisdiction over any unsettled disputes.
